The store design at Mociun White is so NOT what you’d think of a bridal shop, but thats exactly why its perfect! Its a great backdrop to the simplicity of the dresses.

Thanks to the latest issue of Travel & Leisure, I just discovered this gem of a B&B right in Williamsburg Brooklyn called the Urban Cowboy B&B. Started by Lyon Porter, the rooms range from $100 to $400 a night for the cabin out back, or rent out the whole shebang for $2000/night. The townhouse has an industrial rustic charm that makes you think more Adirondacks than Brooklyn, but I can imagine its a great escape for a weekend without needing to rent a car.

I’m sure many of you are aware of the ceramic moment happening right now (and if you weren’t, check out this article in New York Magazine). Anyway, in the handmade section over at NY Now this weekend, I got to catch a peek of Workaday Handmade‘s gorgeous ceramics that thus far I’ve only been able to admire via social media. Artist Forrest Lewinger had a bunch of new pieces, like the double vases and clocks above, that I’ll definitely be adding to my Valentine’s wish list.
